When working the program of S.L.A.A., finding and working with a sponsor is recommended for support and guidance in applying the Twelve Step program of recovery to our lives. A sponsor is someone who has found sobriety from their addictive behaviors and who can help guide you through working the steps.

Steps 6-12 Dr Tiebot Came to Believe Excerpt No Man is an Island Excerpt Step Three Ceremony LONG DISTANCE SPONSOR PROGRAM The S.L.A.A. Conference Sponsorship Committee (CSPC) is expanding its Long Distance Sponsorship and Recovery Support Program. with outreach efforts to Sex and Love Addicts around the world. Long distance sponsors, temporary sponsors, co-sponsors, and recovery partners are needed to help fellows around the world who may not have access to meetings in their area or who are unable to find sponsors. Volunteers are needed to join the committee and help with answering emails from members, contacting Long Distance sponsors and assisting in the matching program. Anyone interested in participating may contact the CSPC via the FWS Website at http://www.SLAA.fws.org/contact/Sponsorship or call our voice mailbox at 323.909.2772. As a committee, we communicate by email and Teleconference calls once or twice a month. A flyer is available for download.
